Queen Street Exhibition

The following is an excerpt from an exhibition on the history of Queen Street in Singapore, published by The Thought Collective. This section of the exhibition explores the colonial history and identity of the area as a former European enclave, through the retelling of the stories of historical characters such as an Indian dhoby, a Chinese immigrant turned Catholic, and the Canossian Sisters who founded a school and convent on the street.

Research, interviews, text and conceptualisation by Lydia Shu and two teammates.
